My name is Margaret Hall. I am a member of Saint Francis Parish and have been a resident of Clearfield all my life. In 1992 I received a B.S. in Education from Penn State University. After graduating I was a substitute teacher for two years in seven area school districts. Then, in 1994, I was blessed to join the faculty at Saint Francis School, and presently teach Social Studies and English to the sixth, seventh, and eighth grades.
My goal in teaching is to provide my students with a good foundation in my subject areas, as well as in our Christian faith and values. Since I teach at the Middle School level, I strive to make sure that my students will be responsible young adults who will be successful in high school and beyond. The motto of our school sums up my philosophy: "St. Francis School ... Where we teach the six Rs: Reading, 'Riting, 'Rithmetic, Reverence for God, Respect for one's self, and Responsibility to others."
