Homework and Reminders for week of Dec. 15-23
All week and into next week;
Reading - Read the whole story of Chinatown starting on page 234. We will read it as a class this week. Students will be tested on the vocabulary on Friday.

Spelling - Unit 16 - You can start going over the words for Unit 17. That test will not be given until after vacation.

Monday - Math homework, dress warmly - we MIGHT go and visit Santa at his new little house - if he is not too busy.

Tuesday - Math homework, Spelling pretest on Wednesday

Wednesday - Math homework (last day of homework until after vacation)

Thursday - Carolyn Donaldson will visit the school. Social Studies test Unit 6

Friday - Math test Unit 3

Monday - Movie at the Ritz theater in the afternoon.

Tuesday - Mass and Christmas party in the afternoon.

I have really enjoyed teaching your children for the first half of their second grade year. Thank you for all of your kindness and support. Mrs. Thorp will be back after Christmas vacation. Have a very merry Christmas!
